I am in middle of installing Lync Server 2010 edge server pool. It has 2 edge servers. Consider this as an example -

The FQDNs for external interface is - access.contoso.com, webcon.contoso.com, av.contoso.com. The SN and SAN on the certificate should be :

SN = access.contoso.com

SAN = webcon.contoso.com, sip.contoso.com

I hope I am ok till now.

Since, I also have a reverse proxy server in the DMZ.

The external web services address is - lyncpool-ext.contoso.com and Dialin, Meet as dialin.contoso.com and meet.contoso.com.

Now we have order a certificate,, so this is my understanding for the certificate -

SN = access.contoso.com

SAN = webcon.contoso.com, sip.contoso.com, lyncpool-ext.contoso.con, dialin.contoso.com, meet.contoso.com

If the above cert is correct. Please also help me with this. Since we have still not configured the reverse proxy server and I dont know the FQDN of reverse proxy server. So, do I also need to add FQDN of RP in SAN.

Please confirm.
