We're moving people from Communicator 2007 to Lync 2013. From what I can tell, the only registry key to auto start Lync is found in HKCU.
I'm going to uninstall Communicator from all the machines Monday morning, but is there a way I can set Lync to auto start when they all log in after that the first time? I don't think I can set the HKCU until they are actually logged in, which would make them have to open Lync manually the first time. Just trying to make it easier on the users. Or can I put that key from HKCU somewhere else in the registry say Sunday night and the next time they log on after that, it will cause Lync to auto start and set the HKCU key?
