I'm trying to install Lync Server 2010 trial version on Windows Web Server 2008 R2. The deployment wizard shows the following error for Step 1: Prepare Schema under Deploy > Active Directory Preparation
Not Available: Schema preparation requires Active Directory administrative tools to be installed. These tools are installed as a Windows feature under Remote Server Administration Tools in the Windows add feature wizard.
However, I don't see any Active Directory related items under Remote Server Administration Tools in the Windows add feature wizard. What am I missing here? Thanks.
