Lync2010,Multi-Forest: How can I forward Voip Calls from Phone1.Apple.local > edge.apple > edge.banana > Phone2.banana.local?

Hello I have 2 separate forests that are trusted both-ways. (Lync STANDARD 2010 at both sites)

I have

phone1.apple.local (1111)

phone2.apple.local (1222)

lync.apple.local

edge.apple.local

phone1.banana.local (2111)

phone2.banana.local (2222)

lync.banana.local

edge.banana.local

Lync text messaging works fine through the Edges. Today I am trying to set up new voip phones, and phone1.apple can call phone2.apple just fine, when you pick up the phone and dial (1222) from 1111, it works fine. However how can I make it such that I can dial phone1.banana 2111 from 1111 phone1.apple to work? Is another mediation server required, or can I use my in-place edge and lync server with some kind of voice policy to allow phone calls from different domains?

Thank you for your guidance, I am waiting on this thread now, and will refresh it every 5 minutes, appreciate your help.
